Biden Concedes
On Sunday, July 21 President Joe Biden announced he will step down as the 2024 Democratic nominee and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris
My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.
Hello Readers,
The Democrats will be electing their nominee August 19-22, 2024 in Chicago, Illinois. With Kamala Harris now the presumptive nominee and the person with the clearest path to the nomination, we’ll soon find out who will be challenging her.
What is certain is that Democrats now get to roll the dice one more time against convicted felon and civilly liable rapist Donald Trump, who has somehow still been polling essentially neck-and-neck with Biden.
We are in quite the moment here, America. We’ll see how it goes.
